If you're new and don't have a Bnk To The Future account yet, stay on this guide to open your BF account. This guide will walk you through the process step by step.

If you've already got a Bnk To The Future account, awesome! Skip ahead to the relevant guide, where we'll help you log in and prepare your account for purchasing Bitcoin (BTC), Stablecoin (USDT), Ethereum (ETH), and ETH Staking.

Step 1
To get started with creating your individual account, click on this link.
You will need to select your account type. As this is a guide for Individual Accounts, please select the Individual account option.  

Step 2
To set up your individual account, you'll need to provide your name, country, email, a secure password, and agree to our terms. If you'd like to keep getting emails from us, don't forget to check the box for the newsletter. When you're all set, hit the "Create individual account" button.

Step 3
Once you've filled in your name, email address, country of residence, set up a new password, and agreed to the terms and conditions, check your email. In case you don't find anything, remember to take a peek in your spam folder.

Step 4
Hit the "Confirm my account" button enclosed within. This ensures a verification of your email.

Step 5
You'll be directed to the sign-in page, where you'll be prompted to enter your email address and password. Once you're set, just tap the "Login" button to proceed. If you have any trouble logging in, refer to the troubleshooting below.

• Locked Out Due to Incorrect Password: If you input an incorrect password three times, your account will be temporarily locked. Worry not! An email will be dispatched to help you regain access. Follow the instructions in the email to unlock your account and set up a new password.
  
• Forgot Your Password: Should the memory fail you, here's what you can do. Click on the "Forgot your password" link (can be found under the login button on the sign in page), and you'll be guided through the password reset process.
• First Time on a New Browser/Device: For your security, when logging in for the first time via a new browser or device, you'll receive a notification on the top right of the sign-in page. This is an advanced security feature. To confirm your browser or device, check your inbox for an email. Click the link in the email to validate your browser or device, granting you secure access. 

Step 6
Welcome to the BF Identity dashboard! Here, you'll need to verify your account and submit your identity documents.

To kick start the process, head over to Guide 2: Verifying Your Identity.

This provides longevity for your long term investments knowing that we take regulatory compliance and security seriously. This is why we are one of the longest standing company in Bitcoin. 

When you login for the first time, you will be directed to our BF identity page in order to verify your account and provide your identity documents.

Step 1
You will need a passport, drivers licence or government issued ID ready in your hand. 

Step 2
Get set for the verification process by having your camera-equipped computer or mobile device ready. If on a computer, a QR code will appear; have your phone ready to scan it. For the best selfie quality, consider using your mobile phone's camera.

Step 3
Start by verifying your identity document by Clicking the "Start KYC" button. 
 

Step 4
Read the instructions carefully, ready with your camera enabled device and identity document in hand. Click "Proceed". 

Step 5
Scan the QR code or enter your mobile number to receive an SMS which will then start the verification process with veriff. 

Step 6
Veriff will ask you to pick your ID. You can choose from: Passport, ID Card, Residents Car or Drivers License.

Step 7
Veriff will then instruct you to take a photo of your ID 

Step 8
Veriff will then ask you to take a selfie.

Step 9
Your documents will be reviewed automatically, which usually takes about 5 minutes. However, if they require human review, it may take longer. Your documents will either be approved and you can move to the next step. Or your ID documents will be rejected, in which case you will need to start the verification process again by going back to step 3 by correcting any errors.  

Once your account is verified, you will be able to proceed to the next steps, which include address verification and providing suitability information. Once you have completed these steps, you will have unlocked features, such as depositing, trading, staking, and withdrawing virtual assets, including BTC, ETH, USDT and more.

The address you provide us with will be used to not only fulfill anti-money laundering obligations, but will also be shared with our banking and payment providers for processing. The address you provide should match the address registered on your bank account and/or payment cards.

Should your incoming payments come from accounts registered under a different address; your verification may be delayed and subjected to additional verification by Veriff.

Once you have diligently filled out all the necessary fields, please press the "Next Step" button when you are prepared to advance to the subsequent stage.

Step 5 
Select from the Three Available Methods to Submit Proof of Address.

Option 1: Selfie with Proof of Address + Proof of Address as a document. 

For this option, you'll need to have a physical proof of address on hand. Once you've obtained it, simply click the "Next Step" button to move forward to the subsequent stage.

Copies must be certified by a suitable certifier, for example a lawyer, accountant, notary public, member of the judiciary, embassy official, director or manager of an authorised credit or financial institution or serving police officer. Take the photocopied document and the original and ask the person to certify the copy by: writing ‘Certified to be a true copy of the original seen by me’ on the document; signing and dating it; printing their name under the signature; adding their occupation; address and telephone number.

This step involves entering your contact number, employment status, and occupation – all three are mandatory fields. For your phone number, please ensure you choose the correct country where your phone network operates. Your employment status can be selected from a dropdown menu. After filling in these details, simply press the "Next Step" button to proceed.

Step 7
On the subsequent screen, a summary similar to the screenshot below will be presented. Please review it attentively, and if everything appears satisfactory, proceed by pressing the "Next Step" button. Alternatively, should you need to make any amendments, you can use the back button to navigate and correct the information as needed.

Step 8
Review the agreement on the following screen. Once you have read and comprehended it, select the agreement. When you are prepared, click the "Submit Verification" button to proceed.

Step 9
Congratulations, you've successfully completed the Proof of Address submission. To proceed, kindly select the "Proceed to Identity Dashboard" button, where you'll find instructions for the next steps.

In the identity dashboard, a checkmark beside Step 1 appears in amber, signalling the verification process is underway. As your documents process, this step will be marked as "Pending."

Once verified, the amber changes to green, and "Pending" becomes "Completed."

If verification fails, an email details the issue and steps to rectify it. This email contains a link to restart at Step 1 of this guide above.

On the dashboard, a red error message indicates verification failure. It guides adjustments and a button to restart from Step 4 of this guide above. 

Your prompt email response and heeding the red message ensure smooth verification progress.

Now, you're all set to proceed with the suitability guide.

When it comes to investing, "suitability information" means sharing details about your money and what you're comfortable with. This helps make sure the investments you're offered match your goals and how much risk you're okay with. It's like finding the right puzzle piece that fits you best!

Upon logging into your BF account and navigating to the identity dashboard, it's time to initiate the suitability information process. Locate and select Step 2, indicated by the red arrow in the screenshot below. Proceed by clicking the "Start Process" button to commence.

Step 2
In this step, you'll encounter a series of questions and checkboxes. These queries help tailor investment suggestions to match your financial goals and preferences. The accompanying screenshots illustrate the full array of questions and available response options. Once you've addressed all questions, the "Next Step" button will activate. When you're prepared, press this button to proceed to the next phase of the process.

Step 3 
You will now see a summary of all your answers related to your suitability information. Check that it’s all correct before proceeding further. Once happy, hit the submit suitability button. Summary will look like this:

The next screen will show a Congratulations message. Hit the “Proceed to Identity Dashboard” button.

Upon successfully providing all the required suitability information, the suitability data will be automatically marked as approved. At this point, your next step is to patiently await feedback from our compliance team regarding the verification of your ID and Proof of Address.

Keep an eye on your email for confirmation from our compliance department. This email will confirm the acceptance of your proof of ID and proof of address. In case of any issues, you'll receive further email instructions aimed at guiding you through the necessary steps to ensure successful verification.

In your BF identity dashboard, these updates will be reflected by two green ticks next to Step 1 and Step 2 of the verification process. Any potential errors will also be indicated, along with instructions to rectify them.

With these two ticks in place, you're now empowered to Deposit, Trade, and Stake within the platform.
